For simplified handling, micro parts are combined in linked parts. To ensure an equal process quality the parts need to be referenced between each production step. This is particular important as single processing stages of the process chain might vary the length of the frame structure of the linked parts. This results in a position drift of the micro parts. In this paper a system for referencing the parts in combination with a feeding system and a rotary swaging machine is presented. Further the referencing system is used to measure the position changes of the parts before and after processing.
